backspace

Remove characters from the end of a variable.

Sample Usage

{{ excerpt|backspace:6 }}

This will output all but the last 6 characters of the excerpt variable’s value.

Parameters

This modifier expects one parameter, the number of characters to remove from the end of your variable.
