Default templates - Blog post

Someone September 12, 2014 by Someone

So, let me see if I understand this correctly...

If you don't specify a template to use, the default.html template will be used to render content.

It seems from how the Acadia and Denali themes are set up that post.html is also a default for rendering the dated blog content, correct? I don't see anything anywhere in the actual theme directing that content to use post.html template nor does there seem to be anything in the folders' page.md file telling the individual files to use the post.html template.

Just trying to wrap my head around this so I make sure I'm creating the right templates and naming them correctly.
