How to get rid of 'apple-touch-icon.png' flooding my logs

Erin Dalzell March 29, 2015 by Erin Dalzell

In my logs, are endless numbers of '404 - Page not found. Visitor came directly to this page and may have typed the URL incorrectly.' Something is trying to find 'apple-touch-icon.png' and 'apple-touch-icon-precomposed.png'

They are throwing ERROR status messages. How can I get rid of them?

Or find out where the request is coming from?
