Subpages not showing on localhost

Erin Anacker September 22, 2014 by Erin Anacker

Hey there. I'm having issues with getting my site to work properly on my local machine (Macbook air). It was working a while back and then, something changed (no idea what I did). I've got MAMP setup. And I'm including my .htaccess info because I'm guessing that's the issue (but I haven't been able to figure that out):

# Use PHP5.4 as default
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php54 .php

# Turn on the Rewrite Engine
RewriteEngine On

# If you're running in a subfolder (like http://example.com/statamic),
# add that here. E.g. /statamic/
RewriteBase /

# Protect your system files from prying eyes
RewriteRule ^(_app) - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(_config) - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(_content) - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(_logs) - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(admin/themes/[^/]*/(?:layouts|templates)) - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)?\.yml$ - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(.*)?\.yaml$ - [F,L]
RewriteRule ^(.*/)?\.git+ - [F,L]

# This will prevent all .html files from being accessed.
# You may want to remove this line if you want to serve
# static files outside of Statamic
RewriteRule ^(.*)?\.html$ - [F,L]

# Remove trailing slashes from your URL
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)\/(\?.*)?$ $1$2 [R=301,L]

# Remove the index.php
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php [QSA,L]

# Make subdirectories main location for parent pages
RedirectMatch 302 ^/facilitating/?$ /facilitating/spark
RedirectMatch 302 ^/teaching/?$ /teaching/the-cultivate-method
RedirectMatch 301 ^/sharing-about/?$ /sharing-about/betwixt

# Redirect commonplace endings to our directories
Redirect /about /sharing-about/betwixt
Redirect /telling /sharing-about/betwixt
Redirect /contact /connecting
Redirect /contact-us /connecting
Redirect /collaborating /facilitating
Redirect /lknk /the-league-of-kind-and-kindred

Any thoughts? I'm thoroughly confounded.
