How to exclude taxonomies from built-in Search

Kelly May 9, 2019 by Kelly

I'd like my search area to only show "pages" not routes to taxonomies - such as tags associated with collections and areas. Is there a way to do this?

I went into CP > Routes and deleted these: Taxonomies tags: '/blog/tags/{slug}'

Collections blog: 'blog/{year}/{month}/{day}/slug'

Routes /blog/feed: /things/feed:

But now in search results the tag such as { this-is-a-tag } shows up as a result still with just the title shown and the link is now not a route but goes to the index or home page

So, any ideas how to tell search to ignore these taxonomies pages? Basically, not to make these pages?
