I have a site hosted locally with MAMP at http://localhost:8888/ and I've got my site completely integrated with Statamic like I want it for now, but one thing that is keeping me tied up right now is this unwanted slug that's being generated from the asset container path that I'm trying to dynamically fetch for my "blog feed".

In routes.yaml I have the basic route of:

collections: { blog: blog/{slug} }

My Asset Container: "Blog Images" is set to path & URL: assets/img/blog_imgs/

In my collection: "Blog", my Bard set "blog_content_image" is loading with this URL causing the asset to be broken and for the image to not load correctly: http://localhost:8888/blog/assets/img/blog_imgs/desired-image1.jpg

The actual desired URL of the asset within the container is: http://localhost:8888/assets/img/blog_imgs/desired-image1.jpg

The "/blog" in the Bard set is my problem that's causing the image to be broken, but I can't figure out how to fix this & it's driving me nuts! I have the feeling it can be fixed with my routes.yaml file or something like that, but I'm clueless at the moment to be honest. Sorry if this one is a no-brainer, I just can't put my finger on what I've done wrong with this and I've already watched all video tuts from Statamic YouTube channel and read all the docs.

Please help this noob! And thank you for creating Statamic! I'm excited to launch my first site with it and other than a few learning curve setbacks, this platform is amazing and alot of fun to develop with. It's exactly what I've been looking for in a customizable, lightweight CMS so thanks a bunch!
