Entry with same name, but different parent can't have same name?

Why is this not allowed (in default Pages collection):

Cars
- Ford
-- Description
- Kia
-- Description

When I try to add the second entry by the title Description (that is, as a subpage to a different parent entity) I get the red error msg displaying:

Slug* This value has already been taken.

Bug ?
