3 challenges for a first-time user

Hi,

I am building my first statamic side and facing 3 challenges I may need some help with:

1) Ho can I make an entry in a collection to the home page? I've got a Page collection with some entries (about, homepage, ..). One of those entries should be the front page which should be accessed without any slug.

2) How can I link the slug field to be generated by another field than title?

3) When I view my collection index page in statamic, I may click on the title of an entry to be linked directly to the entry editing page. How can I establish those links to other values as well.
