Dynamic pages:listing including child pages?

I am trying to achieve the following:

(for example)
About Page
content here associated with about page

  {{ pages:listing }}
      {{ title }} - Secondary Page of About
      call whatever other tags associated here...
      {{# If there are child pages below #}}
          {{ title }} - Child Page
      {{ title }} - Secondary Page of About
      call whatever other tags associated here...
      {{# If there are child pages below #}}
          {{ title }} - Child Page
      etc. etc.
  {{ /pages:listing }}

Since most of the pages will follow this layout, it will need to be a partial and work dynamically across the site. ( I just used about as an example)
