This is a small add-on tag which stops Glide trying to resize those 87MB 12,000px x 18,000px PNG images that clients love to upload (even after you tell them not to 100 times) ? which usually ends up with a broken site and maybe some quiet sobbing.
SafeGlide lets you specify the size limits at which it will skip trying to resize any images.
It can serve the original huge image as a fallback, or a 1x1 transparent GIF so your client knows they have been extremely naughty when they behold the nothingness, instead of their gargantuan raw image.
There are also options to log these aforementioned crimes against web images.
