Statamic Dispatch #42

The Statamic Dispatch · September 2026

Four launches made August one exciting month.

Issue 42 From the team

Lately it feels like we found a whole new gear and we've been leaning into the momentum. There's a lot to share since last month! A few of these ideas have been rattling around for a while, so it feels pretty great to finally put them in your hands.

Mailables Viewer is a free addon that finds every Laravel mailable in your app and previews it in the Control Panel without a hand-built preview route. You can edit sample data, check responsive sizes, and send a real test without emailing yourself eighteen times and pretending that is a normal workflow.

Sherpa is a free native Mac app for creating, running, and deploying Statamic sites without having to use the terminal. It handles the setup, local previews, addons, Git, and deployment, which makes Statamic much easier to try and happens to be pretty convenient even if you already know your way around a terminal.

Sidecar is an addon that gives existing LaraDocs, Jigsaw, VitePress, and HydePHP sites a free Statamic Control Panel while leaving their Markdown exactly where it is. We think it could make Statamic a fantastic content studio for docs and other static sites without forcing anyone into a rebuild.

Stay tuned, there's so much more to come we're right on the cusp of some really huge new features.
