Control Panel Settings

Change how your Control Panel behaves.

Statamic comes with a fully-responsive Control Panel to let you manage your site on the go. These settings change how it looks and acts.

Settings

Listed in the order in which you’ll find them in your settings file.

_admin_enabled

Should the Control Panel be enabled? Setting this to false will disable the Control Panel, but you can also remove it entirely.

_admin_path

This is the path to your admin directory. If you change the name of your admin folder for your install, be sure to also change this setting to match.

_admin_nav

This setting lets you show and hide pages of the Control Panel navigation.

_admin_start_page

This chooses which page users land on by default after logging into the Control Panel.

_enable_add_section

Enable/Disable the ability to add new top level pages via the Control Panel.

_enable_add_child_page

Enable/Disable the ability to add new child pages via the Control Panel.

_cookies.lifetime

This is a plain English representation of how long cookies should exist

_cookies.cipher & _cookies.cipher_mode

This is the cipher and mode used for encrypting data.

_disable_google_fonts

Set this to true to disable Google Webfonts and to use standard websafe fonts.
