The MonthlyFirehose

August, 2023

Summer in the Northern Hemisphere is slowly coming to an end but we still got some hot news and updates from Statamic HQ and the community for you in this month's issue! πŸ”₯

Platform Pricing

After about a year of testing with a handful of customers, we're happy to finally bring you Statamic Platform pricing!

Aimed at organizations building large networks of sites using Statamic, pricing starts at $7 per-month per-site with a minimum of 25 sites.

It's pay-as-you-go and the cost is getting updated every month to account for any new or removed sites. All current and future first-party addons, like SEO Pro, are included.

More details on our specific landing page about it as well as our blog post with the announcement.

New Features Galore πŸš€

The past few weeks saw quite a few new features to the Core of Statamic as well as our ecosystem of first-party packages. This includes the much requested (and almost ready) Multi-Site Permissions, an updated Statamic CLI now using the new Laravel Prompts (Jack recorded a video on it), and updates to our SSG package which now supports pagination.

But there's more! Read all about the new cool things in our blog post on it.

Laracon US 2023 Recap

Laracon this year really was a blast and we teased more content on it in last month's issue of our newsletter. Quite a few puns later, we have finished writing our recap on it. Head over to our blog and enjoy lots of words as well as some hand-picked images about our time in Nashville, TN.

Statamic Talk at Laracon AU πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Marty Friedel from Mity Digital, one of our certified Partner agencies, got chosen to give a talk about Statamic at Laracon AU in November. We're super excited and can't think of anybody who's more qualified to (re-)present Statamic on stage Down Under 🦘

Congrats, mate! 🐨

The Water Cooler

Only the best, @statamic

Take a look at @statamic!

Every time I work with a different CMS I appreciate how great @statamic is ✨

I highly recommend @statamic

All of those "lessons learned" over the years have just been applied to my blog (https://www.martyfriedel.com), which was the second-ever @statamic site I built. A fresh new design, new photography tweaked blueprints and upgraded to Vite.

A huge thanks to @statamic for the guest sponsorship as well. Love it!

.@jackmcdade has a great product with @statamic

I’ve recently start using @statamic and really like it. Excited to learn from the expert @MartyFriedel

TIL that @statamic has special fieldtype index component support allowing you to craft a neat layout when that fieldtype is used in an index view. How neat is that?!?! 🀯

I was worried it’d be me talking to my computer for the first AU/NZ @statamic catch up… but instead had the company of these awesome people! Shoot me a message if you want to know about the next catch up.

The introduction to @statamic by @MartyFriedel was super informative indeed, thanks πŸ™

Second this. Use it on my site and love it.

A wild @statamic appears. πŸ‘€

New blog coming along, a mixture of a Next.js template ported to @statamic and using the eloquent instead of flat file driver, really digging it so far, hoping to finish this at the weekend then get writing more.

@statamic - freedom and flexibility for how to build and structure, ease of deployment, and performance especially with static caching in use.

After dealing with WordPress and "customer favorite" Elementor, it is such a good feeling coming back to @statamic 😍

Pushing for Statamic as often as I can get to it πŸ™‚

Fresh faced and ready to present at PHP Melbourne about @statamic!

I don't use it personally, but damn I do love the design of @statamic. What is your favorite SaaS landing page or web app design?
