Forms 2.0 is a major evolution of the form-building experience, taking something that has traditionally been fairly developer-centric and making it much more approachable for content editors, marketers, and other non-technical users—without giving up the flexibility developers expect.

The centerpiece is a brand-new three-panel builder that makes it faster and more intuitive to assemble forms, configure fields, and understand exactly what you're building as you go.

The new builder comes with a much richer set of purpose-built fields, with common things like email addresses, phone numbers, image choices, ratings, and addresses already configured with the behavior and validation you’d expect. Forms can now span multiple pages, be resumed later, and include conditional logic that controls which fields or entire pages someone sees based on their answers. There’s even a visual view of that logic so more complicated forms don’t turn into an indecipherable mess.

We’re also expanding everything that can happen around a form. The new Connect section is where you’ll hook up email notifications and third-party services and addons, while an upgraded Results area gives you a cleaner way to work with submissions — with visualizations like charts and graphs on the way.

Forms can have submission limits, expiration dates, login requirements, and you can even choose whether submissions should be stored at all.

And one of our favorite additions is what we’ve been calling automagic forms. Flip a switch and Statamic can give your form its own clean, ready-to-use URL—more like the experience you’d expect from a dedicated form service—without you needing to build a template first.

Of course, this is still Statamic: you can use your own HTML in Antlers or Blade templates, render forms however you want with tags, and completely customize the presentation when you want to. You'll even be able to render a full form with a single fieldtype in a Bard set.

We've done extensive user research and testing with this feature. It's not a vibe-coded solution whipped up by Claude last week — it's carefully and thoughtfully crafted by humans, just like everything we build around here.
