1.1.0

Changes from the Statamic Marketplace review.

Security

  • The public download route applies the entry's protection scheme on every request, so a signed link never bypasses login, password or IP protection.
  • Only anonymous URL-mode renders are cached and shared. HTML renders run inside the visitor's request and are never reused; protected entries are never cached.

Fixes

  • Compress, Watermark and Protect now require the same rights as Statamic's Reupload action, edit plus upload on the container, instead of edit only.
  • HTML mode renders entries through Statamic's view class, so drafts export from the Control Panel as documented. The public route refuses drafts in both modes.
  • entries.download_route now really turns the route off. The route file is no longer auto-loaded by Statamic, and the tag prints nothing when the route is off.
  • A key without a live_ or test_ prefix hides the actions and silences the tag instead of breaking listings.

Improvements

  • PDFs served through the download link are reused for entries.cache_minutes (default 60), so a popular page does not spend one conversion per click.
  • README documents pricing and what counts as a conversion, the permissions each action needs, the Laravel 12 requirement for Statamic 5 sites, and the webhook route registered by the Laravel package.

Upgrading

#292D3E; --theme-selection-background: #00000080;">
composer update pdfgate/statamic

If you published the config file, add 'cache_minutes' => 60 under entries to enable the cache.
